Telkom launched the Telkom Transformation and Innovation Awards in November 2023, inaugurating an annual event that acknowledges Telkom’s significant role in fostering technology-driven start-ups in the South African ecosystem. These awards provide a platform to highlight the exceptional accomplishments of Telkom’s Enterprise and Supplier Development Programmes, demonstrating their impact on the local business environment.

Through this initiative, Telkom aims to recognise the exemplary efforts of its internal Transformation ambassadors who lead the charge for Transformation & Innovation across diverse business units, catalysing positive transformations within Telkom.

 

Uyandiswa Project Management Services was honored with the Transformation & Innovation awards for their role as a strategic ecosystem partner, integral to Telkom’s ecosystem, supporting and enabling access to markets, funding, and networks for Future Maker entrepreneurs.

Dr. Mmaki Jantjies, Group Executive for the Innovation and Transformation Office at Telkom, emphasized the significance of platforms like these awards that celebrate the nation’s innovators and their remarkable contributions to shaping a technologically advanced South Africa, prepared for the future.
